Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapists are experts in human movement and mobility. They address posture, range of motion, strength, balance, coordination, gross motor skills and more to help children independently move throughout their environment with confidence and ease.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists are experts in daily living and functioning skills. They address fine motor skills, sensory regulation, social skills, feeding, dressing, playing, attention, transitions and more to help children independently and confidently carry out their everyday roles.

Developmental Coaching

Developmental Coaching

Our coaching sessions are designed to help you guide your child through their developmental milestones and create an environment that fosters creativity and exploration. Coaching is meant to provide individualized support that is less specialized than therapy, focusing on how you can best engage with your child.

Group Classes

Group Classes

We offer a variety of classes on baby development, tummy time, sensory experiences, and social/emotional engagement. Contact us to find out our current class offerings or to arrange a new group class.

Neurodiversity Affirming Approach

Neurodiversity Affirming Approach

We embrace neurodiversity, understanding that differences such as Autism, ADHD and other developmental conditions are part of what makes someone unique, not deficits to be “fixed.” We tailor our approach to focus on each child’s individual strengths, interests and processing style so that they feel valued and respected.

In-Home Appointments

In-Home Appointments

By offering sessions in your child’s natural environment, we ensure that they feel comfortable and that our solutions fit your lifestyle. Contact us to find out if we travel to your area.

School Services

School Services

We offer in-school therapy sessions, subject to each school’s approval, as well as Individualized Education Program (IEP) support for families.

Outreach

Outreach

We are passionate about reaching our community by offering need-based scholarships for therapy as well as community inclusion efforts and neurodiversity affirming education and resources. Support us by contributing to our Lemon Blossom Fund, or contact us for more information.

What you can expect

Initial Evaluation

One of our skilled therapists will do a thorough assessment of your child’s overall development, finding the root cause of any potential issues. This initial meeting allows us to develop an individualized plan for your child, and most importantly, establish trust with them.

Treatment Plan

After the initial evaluation, your therapist will explain your child’s individualized treatment plan. We will lay out realistic goals, give you an estimated time frame to achieve them, and walk you through the steps to get there.

Follow Up

Your child’s individualized plan will include important follow up strategies in order to make sure they successfully reach the goals that are important to you. These may include in-person treatment sessions, home exercises, virtual consultations, equipment recommendations and more. Each plan is as unique as the child for whom it is developed.

Lasting Growth

After your child has successfully completed their therapy plan and met their goals, we want to make sure they continue to thrive. We encourage all of our therapy graduates to participate in group classes or periodic coaching sessions, where they will continue receiving expert recommendations to boost their development while having fun.

"My son suffered a drowning at the age of one. Shortly after his accident we met Brittany, she has been his therapist now for six years!!! She is amazing at her job, she has pushed him further than anyone thought he could go. All because she believed in him. She had a heart of GOLD, truly cares about every patient and is so creative when it comes to helping her patients. I don't know if you will find a more caring or compassionate therapist in all of Florida. Our son absolutely adores her and so do we!"

Iris Morales

"My son was diagnosed with hemiplegia when he was just 7 months old and unable to coordinate movement on his left side body. Fast forward two years, he is now walking, running, climbing, throwing, grabbing his toys, and able to participate in pre school. Lemon City uses a tailored approached to each child and makes therapy fun. I don’t what we would have done our where my family would be without this early intervention. The owner, Brittany is kind, loving, knowledgeable, and truly cares about each kiddo. This kindness and caring extends to the parents too. Thank you LCC!!!"
